Agile Project Manager (Minnesota-Hybrid)
SkyWater has recently partnered with a growing, Minneapolis-based organization that has been around for over 35 years and continued to hire strong technical talent. This organization is a B-corp that offers solutions and services that help the betterment of society.
This Agile Project Manager will work with the development team and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of internal and client-facing projects. This person will own sprint planning, coordinate workloads across the team, and create the structure and accountability needed for successful execution.
Soft skills are very important as this is a close-knit team. Must be local to MN, and not require sponsorship.

Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Manage sprint workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure the development team stays aligned with deadlines and deliverables.
- Set internal milestones and schedules that ladder up to client delivery timelines.
- Monitor project progress and proactively remove roadblocks for the team.
- Maintain clear documentation, workflows, and project artifacts.
- Oversee ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, etc.) and ensure tickets are well-defined, prioritized, and up to date.
- Work closely with product, development, and leadership teams to prevent scope creep and maintain clarity on requirements.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and expectations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and accountability within the development process.
- Use technical understanding to assess feasibility, sequence work appropriately, and communicate effectively with engineering.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 4 year degree
- 3+ years of experience in IT project management, technical project coordination, or software development team leadership.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, tools, and technical concepts.
- Experience leading agile teams and managing sprints.
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs.
- Hands-on experience with project management and ticketing tools (Jira, ADO, ClickUp, etc.). Proven ability to set deadlines, track progress, and hold teams accountable.
