CAD Design Manager
Looking for a Design Manager who will lead a team of electrical designers, coordinating and delegating custom projects to your design team while ensuring deadlines are being met and controlling the design history files in Autodesk Vault. Your team is split amongst two business units, so collaboration and communication will be vital for you to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of electrical designers by supporting multiple business units, ensuring proper procedures are followed, deadlines are being met, and incoming work is scheduled appropriately
- Lead design and industry standard policies and procedures internally
- Provide industry expertise in the form of mentorship and training
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Stay up to date on industry innovations, design changes, and new product launches
Desired Skills and Experience
- Associate's Degree in CAD Technology required
- 8+ years of electrical design experience and exposure to UL508A, panel layouts, and AutoCAD Electrical
- Prefer 2+ years of leadership/management experience
