Chief of Staff

  • Job Tag: #LI-CB1
  • Posted: February 02,2026
  • Salary: $185,000

We have been retained by a global provider of aftermarket aviation solutions supporting commercial, regional, and corporate aircraft operators. Built to address the growing demand for integrated, end-to-end aftermarket services, the organization operates through a portfolio of specialized, independent business units delivering parts, maintenance, asset lifecycle, and technical solutions that keep aircraft operating efficiently and safely.

Our client is adding a senior-level Chief of Staff to serve as an extension to the CEO and an integrator for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This role is responsible for driving alignment across a multi-business portfolio, ensuring enterprise initiatives remain on track, and strengthening operating cadence, decision clarity, and execution discipline across the organization.

This is a highly cross-functional, high-trust role requiring exceptional judgment, executive presence, discretion, and the ability to influence outcomes without formal authority. The Chief of Staff will operate at both strategic and tactical levels, balancing long-term value creation with day-to-day execution rigor.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO on strategy, prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Translate CEO and ELT priorities into clear initiatives, ownership, and execution timelines.
  • Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and high performance across the leadership team.
  • Support leadership development, succession planning, and organizational capability building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, operating companies, and external partners.
  • Drive alignment across the ELT and segment leaders on enterprise priorities, trade-offs, and decision ownership.
  • Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the enterprise operating system, embedding consistent planning, prioritization, and performance rhythms.
  • Monitor operating discipline, surface gaps or drift, and reinforce accountability and cadence.
  • Act as a neutral integrator to resolve cross-functional issues that impede execution.
  • Oversee enterprise-level strategic initiatives, ensuring momentum, milestone clarity, and escalation where needed.
  • Establish and maintain performance management discipline, tracking KPIs and synthesizing insights for executive decision-making.
  • Proactively identify execution risks, resource constraints, and trade-offs; escalate early and facilitate decisive action.
  • Partner across operating companies and parent-level resources to implement and scale enterprise solutions.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise operations, strategy, finance, business analytics, supply chain, or program management.
  • M&A experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success driving value creation, execution discipline, and financial performance.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership through transformation, M&A integration, leadership transitions, or crisis environments.
  • Background in aviation, asset management, parts trading, logistics services, or adjacent industrial sectors strongly preferred.
