COBOL Programmer
We are partnering with a financial services company to add a COBOL Programmer to their team. This company has been around for over 50 years and continues to grow in their market. They’re looking for someone with COBOL experience to bring a breadth of knowledge to their dynamic IT team.
This organization is extremely stable and has not experience layoffs over the last decade. They offer a competitive compensation package and allow a flexible work environment.
** Must be local to Minneapolis, MN **
Responsibilities
- Maintain and modify existing programs as necessary to implement corrections, modifications, and/or enhancements.
- Write and maintain program, process, and systems documentation.
- Gather program specifications including requirements, functionality, and features.
- Designs and creates user interface screens, reports, and system interfaces.
- Work within the existing team to complete projects and updates on schedule.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience with or exposure to the following is highly preferred: T-SQL, SQL Server, HTML/CSS, C#
- 5+ yrs of experience with COBOL
- 4 year technical degree preferred
- Cannot require sponsorship
