Controller
SkyWater is thrilled to be exclusively partnering with a high-growth retailer in the Twin Cities who is looking to add a Controller to their team. Overseeing a small team, you’ll have the opportunity to get your hands dirty in all things accounting, while also stepping back to see the big picture and be the CFO’s right hand person.

Responsibilities
- Drive monthly close process, including journal entry review, reconciliation review, and financial statement compilation
- Maintain accurate financial reporting
- Establish and maintain internal controls and reporting processes
- Oversee accounting team, providing leadership and mentorship
- Other ad hoc projects, as deemed necessary
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- CPA and/ or public accounting experience highly preferred
- Strong operational accounting knowledge – comfortable with building a month-end accounting calendar from the ground up.
- Passionate about building processes and finding efficiencies
- Understanding of inventory accounting
