Controller

SkyWater is excited to partner with growing company in the specialty manufacturing industry to help them add a Controller to their collaborative, forward-thinking team. This individual will report to an extremely sharp, collaborative, and strategic CFO who we have known for years!
This is a high-impact role with direct visibility to leadership, where your ideas will be heard and your work will make a difference. You’ll work closely with teams across operations and international finance—contributing to KPI development and driving strategic initiatives. Responsibilities
- Lead monthly close, quarterly forecasts, and annual budget processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal controls
- Manage accounting operations including accruals, inventory costing, and fixed asset accounting
- Develop and present financial models to support pricing, customer profitability, and capital investments
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to drive decision-making
- Act as a finance liaison across departments
- Build financial forecasts and partner with leaders to align operational and financial goals
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- CPA strongly preferred
- Minimum 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- ERP experience; MS Dynamics 365 is a plus
- Highly analytical with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
