Director of Cloud & IT Operations

We have been retained by a truly one of a kind e-commerce client that generates $150M+ to identify their Director of Cloud & IT Operations – Reporting to the CTO/Founder.
We have placed nearly a dozen people with this organization; who are all still there based on their culture & team size.
Our client has been around for over 20 years & employs more than 200 people at their HQ here in the Midwest. This role is for someone who likes to be in all aspects of the IT space – managing & rolling up their sleeves. This person will need to have a strong background in Infrastructure (Azure Cloud), Project Management, Networks/systems, InfoSec & Compliance, & more.
The owners of this company started the company in college out of their dorm room, and have since been featured in publications across the country. They’ve seen 30-35% growth every year since the company’s inception.
*** This is a REMOTE role. Our client would love if this person could get to the St. Paul, MN area about once a quarter to participate in meetings.***

Responsibilities
- Lead & coordinate IT Projects from conception to completion.
- Build & oversee cloud services & infrastructure.
- Manage & support the company’s network & systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal & regulatory requirements relating to IT security & Data privacy.
- Oversee development, deployment, & maintenance of internal software applications.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of relevant job experience in all areas of IT
- BS/BA in Technical or related field.
- Hands on technical leader that is willing to pull up their sleeves & do what's needed.
- Proven leadership & team management abilities, with a track record of building & developing high-performing teams.
- Architect cloud (Azure) infrastructure.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
