Electrical Designer
SkyWater Search Partners is partnered with a highly sought after Twin Cities engineering consulting firm that has a rare opportunity available to add a skilled and experienced electrical designer who is passionate about contributing to innovative designs in the industry. The role primarily involves working on various electrical design projects for commercial buildings. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for key aspects of the design process, collaborating closely with project teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities Include:
• Provide electrical systems design, documentation, and construction administration for projects.
• Document production and coordination.
• Accurately, efficiently size, and lay out all aspects of lighting systems including the use of light modeling software and energy calculations.
• Accurately, efficiently size, and lay out all aspects of power and low voltage systems including communications, fire alarms, and security systems.
• Construction administration tasks such as shop drawing review and RFIs.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in electrical building system design
• Associate’s Degree in Electrical Design or Electrical Construction
• Proficiency in computer-aided drafting (AutoCAD and Revit)
• Knowledge of electrical building system design principles
• Familiarity with applicable design codes and regulations
• Hybrid work capability
