Engineering Project Manager
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in Minneapolis to find an Engineering Project Manager for their team! This person will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects throughout their lifecycles. They’ll work directly with customers on engineering projects, partner with internal teams (design engineers, manufacturing engineers, sales reps, etc.) and lead these projects from ideation to production. Responsibilities
- Manage project timelines & budgets while overseeing multiple projects at a time.
- Maintain communication with clients and update them on project milestones or changes (as needed).
- Partner with internal teams throughout project lifecycles (engineering, sales, etc.) and lead cross-functional team members on projects.
- Act as a technical resource for clients and internal teams on projects.
- Other responsibilities or duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant engineering or project management experience.
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
- Experience working in a metal fabrication or job shop preferred.
