External Reporting Manager

In this role, you’ll move beyond client service and take ownership of SEC reporting, shape U.S. GAAP policy across the organization, and be a trusted advisor on complex accounting issues. Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of SEC filings and external financial reports, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, provide technical guidance on complex transactions, and lead training across the organization to ensure consistent application.
- Research and implement new accounting standards, support financial statement presentation and disclosures, and prepare technical accounting memos and whitepapers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and manage audit relationships, serving as a key liaison with internal and external auditors while driving process improvements.
- Manage and mentor a small team, contribute to global consolidation efforts, and foster a positive, high-performance working environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of public accounting experience and a CPA certification required
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in accounting
- Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
- Prior experience in Public Accounting with SEC Registered clients
