General Manager
Our client is seeking a General Manager to join their expanding team. Throughout Southern Minnesota and the entire country, they are a dependable, family-run business that specializes in subterranean solutions. The principal duty of the general manager is to oversee operations for clients in the upper Midwest region that require construction and regional utility services. Their job will be to develop a highly efficient team. In addition, this role will oversee the profitability and productivity of all contracts, projects, and team members. An experienced natural gas distribution services professional with a track record of managing teams and projects is the ideal applicant.
Responsibilities
- Assist in facilitating and guaranteeing the effective and efficient achievement of regional strategic objectives.
- Create a culture of continuous improvement to boost productivity, lower costs, raise sales, enhance quality, lower the inventory of goods and supplies, and promote overall positive change. Assure the region's peak performance. Suggest and put into practice methods to raise output, boost efficiency, cut expenses, and benefit from
- Encourage and uphold the organization's fundamental safety principles by setting an example of appropriate behavior, spreading the word about them through regular activities, and
- Keep an eye on the project's goals, the organization's policies and processes, and all field performance criteria.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Over the road traveling position throughout the Minnesota metro, Iowa, and the Dakotas to oversee projects, the team, and troubleshoot as needed.
- Ability to work on job sites, shop, office, vehicle.
- Minimum 10 years of gas distribution knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of management experience
