Human Resources Generalist
SkyWater Search Partners is thrilled to be partnering with a growing and innovative manufacturing company that’s building out their HR function and looking for a hands-on, detail-driven HR Generalist to join the team!

The target base compensation for this role is $68,000 – $80,000, depending on experience. The role will be on site 5 days a week in Brooklyn Park facility with occasional travel to other MN locations.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth processes and great employee experiences.
- Manage bi-weekly multi-state payroll and act as a trusted go-to for employee questions around pay, benefits, and HR systems.
- Administer benefits and serve as a liaison between employees and vendors.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR policies, handbooks, and compliance postings as needed.
- Oversee leave of absence administration and ensure compliance across ~15 states.
- Support ongoing HR system enhancements and process improvements as the company continues to grow.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3–6+ years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or a similar hands-on environment.
- Strong foundation in payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and HR systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail — someone who loves to “dot the I’s and cross the T’s.”
- Self-directed and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
- A curious, practical problem-solver who is resilient, adaptable, and approachable
