IT Manager (Minnesota-only)
Our client, a rapidly expanding organization in the fire, life, and electrical safety sector, is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Manager to lead technology across a portfolio of testing, inspection, laboratory, and certification businesses. With multiple recent acquisitions and more planned, the company is unifying systems, modernizing infrastructure, and preparing for scalable global growth.
In this newly created role, you will oversee IT operations for ~150 users across several subsidiaries. You will stabilize day-to-day environments, improve reliability, and drive the standardization of infrastructure, cloud services, security practices, and core business systems. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable at the keyboard diagnosing issues as they are advising leadership, shaping integration plans, and supporting M&A activity.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 10+ years in IT management with deep infrastructure and system administration skills
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-entity environments
- Strength in networks, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and user support
- Ability to lead migrations, integrations, and system standardization initiatives
- Excellent communication and organizational discipline in complex environments
