SkyWater Search Partners has been engaged on a HR Director search for an innovative and growing professional services company (approximately 150 employees and counting!).  For 25 years this company has been transforming the way companies design and optimize their products.  We are looking for a HR leader that is excited by the opportunity to transition HR into a strategic function. Responsibilities:

  • Create a full cycle talent strategy- to include planning, sourcing, selection and retention strategies
  • Lead evaluation of employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
  • Coordinate the performance review process, which includes assisting Managers with goal setting, rating, performance management, documentation, and merit increase recommendation oversight
  • Recommend and implement compensation program by preparing pay budgets; conducting periodic pay surveys; conducting job evaluations and consulting with leaders on pay increases
  • Consult with managers and employees on all people issues
  • Develop strategies and processes to identify and develop talent within the organization.
  • Recommend and implement competitive employee benefits programs
  • Innovate and develop new ideas and approaches. Recommend and implement process improvements and establish best practices
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices, updates policies and procedures to maintain compliance
  • Manage HR staff, leads, coaches and develops
  • Prepare and manage the HR operating budget

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related degree.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience at a small or mid-size, growth stage
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and resourcefulness, works independently and can handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment and be a self-starter who works with integrity while also being a strong team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.

  • International HR experience (preferred)
