The Controller will be responsible for directing the company's accounting/finance function. The position is a hands on role that will help drive the financial results of the business and manage the ongoing financial accounting, reporting, planning, forecasting and analysis of the company. A key aspect of this role is to evaluate current business and financial processes and look for ways to improve productivity, reduce inefficiencies, and make the most of resources. The candidate must be an organized professional with a great eye for detail and passion for evaluating business initiatives.
Make strategic recommendations to optimize revenue growth, improve working capital performance, and drive operating profit.
Analyze and interpret financial results. Monitor against budget and update forecasted results as needed. Provide financial information to all departments and assist in resolving questions and issues.

Proven experience in a management position
Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial processes
Understanding of data analysis, forecasting, planning, and budgeting
Well-organized with ability to prioritize
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Desire to take initiative and proactively seek efficiencies
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. A CPA is a plus.
