One of our best clients in Minnesota (west metro) is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a custom engineering team. This candidate will direct all projects & engineering activities, along with managing the schedules, KPI's, and portfolio of designs within this fast-growing team. 

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a fast-growing custom engineering team on new projects (think R&D-type work, yet need to be done in 6 weeks vs. 6 months), and very strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Specifically, they are looking for someone that has experience managing a software development team of at least 3-5 engineers, has led code reviews, etc., and someone that comes from a Microsoft development background that has moved into a Lead/Software Dev Manager role in the last few years. 

This person would have responsibility for a team of around 7-8 engineers responsible for building out their marketing/CRM platforms, along with a number of other larger applications that drive their business (ASP.NET MVC, React.JS, Azure backend, etc.).

Experience needed:
– 8-10+ years of total experience, at least 2+ leading a development team
