SkyWater Search is partnering with a boutique law firm with offices in Minnesota, New York, and New Jersey. The firm has a national Mass Torts/Class Action practice, with a practice team dedicated to sexual abuse victim representation. This team is looking to add an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to its dedicated Sexual Abuse Victim team in the New Jersey office.
An ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience litigating in New York and/or New Jersey, with a strong understanding of NY/NJ civil procedure and motion practice. An ideal candidate has conducted trials in New York state and federal courts, excels in legal research and writing, manages cases from intake to jury trial, and is a trauma informed practitioner or is willing to acquire the skill set.
The firm is looking for an associate they can invest in long term. The role is hybrid, with 3-4 days per week in office, ideally in the New Jersey office (but they are open to their New York office as well).
