Production Manager

This role is open due to significant grow in demand for legacy and new products! We are in the process of making a significant addition to our facility and you’ll be leaned on for input into plant layout.
Position Overview: As the Production Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety are maintained at optimal levels. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of production personnel, coordinating schedules, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve production goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet customer demands.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with other departments such as engineering, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure seamless production operations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to develop the skills of production personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Manage inventory levels and procurement of materials to support production activities.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to track key performance indicators and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of production processes, quality management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications and production management software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
