Manufacturing Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in Minneapolis to find a Manufacturing Engineer for their team! The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting manufacturing & assembly issues, leading new machine installations, working closely with operators on the floor, troubleshooting equipment issues, partnering with cross-functional engineering teams, and much more. Our client is a successful machinery manufacturer who we’ve placed multiple people with over the last few years. Responsibilities
- Identify manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Lead new machine installation projects as needed.
- Work with operators on manufacturing engineering projects.
- Create detailed layouts for equipment, workflows, etc.
- Other projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial or similar engineering role (or combination of roles).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make independent decisions.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written).
