Manufacturing Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with a new contract manufacturing client in the West Metro to help them find a Manufacturing Engineer for their team! The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting manufacturing & assembly issues, leading continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with operators on the floor and partnering with cross-functional engineering teams on projects. This company has doubled their growth over the last 5 years and are continuing to see that trend!
Responsibilities
- Identify manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Design, develop and implement manufacturing processes that optimize efficiency.
- Work with internal engineering teams to implement new products.
- Create detailed layouts for equipment, workflows, etc.
- Other duties or projects as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of demonstrated manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experienced in LEAN manufacturing
- Experienced implementing capital projects and production lines.
- Contract Manufacturing experience preferred.
