Manufacturing Manager
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations in an assembly and machining environment. This role is a floor-first leadership position who will develop and coach supervisors, drive KPIs, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, high-quality, efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop 3 supervisors and ~65–70 employees.
- Drive daily accountability through KPI management and visual performance tracking.
- Be a “boots-on-the-ground” leader — actively present on the floor to mentor and problem-solve.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, CI, supply chain, and planning to deliver results.
- Own near-term plant improvement plans and project manage execution.
- Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement culture across production.
- Ensure performance to production schedules, efficiency, cost, and delivery targets.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing (managing supervisors preferred).
- Strong lean manufacturing knowledge with real-world application (not just buzzwords).
- Comfortable using ERP systems (SAP preferred) to manage planning/scheduling.
- Skilled at coaching, conflict management, and building trust across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/engineering preferred OR equivalent experience.
