Outside Sales Account Manager
SkyWater is partnering with one of the most well respected distributors of maintenance, repair, and operations products in the country. They proudly credit their 50+ years of success on partnering with the highest quality manufacturers around while setting the industry standard in customer service.
Their team is looking to add an Outside Sales Account Manager to help them grow a brand-new territory. This individual will be responsible for traveling within the region daily to drive new business, service existing relationships to grow their current accounts, and exceed revenue targets set by the organization. They’re offering a strong compensation package, a detailed training program, and great benefits to bring in the right person.

**Ideal candidates would be located in the Northeast, Virginia region**
Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with both potential and existing customers in the area
- Prospect new business via cold calls and in-person meetings to build account base
- Work with shop foreman, engineers, mechanics, and purchasing department regularly
- Maintain and rotate stock of inventory inside the company van
- Travel daily within your assigned territory
- Provide exceptional customer service to retain and increase revenue each year
- Stay updated on industry trends to capitalize on changes and opportunities in the market
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a Business, Management, or another related focus
- 3+ years of outside sales experience - electrical components, wiring, or hydraulics preferred
- Strong history of building customer relationships and exceeding revenue targets
- Proven track record of managing and growing a territory or sales route
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
