Process Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client to find a Process Engineer for their team! The Process Engineer will be responsible for improving production processes, finding cost-savings, reducing scrap, and much more. They’ll also partner with management to complete strategic projects and improve manufacturing processes across the plant. Our client is offering a solid base salary, excellent bonus program and opportunities to advance your engineering career with them!
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Partner with internal engineering teams on process improvement projects.
- Find cost-savings opportunities.
- Utilize lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Other projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer (or similar combination of roles).
- Experience working within an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
