Job Description: As the Production Control Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. While we already have a strong engineering leadership team in place, we recognize the critical need for dedicated oversight in production control, scheduling, and personnel supervision to optimize our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production control processes to ensure timely and efficient execution of manufacturing schedules, taking into account factors such as materials availability, capacity constraints, and production priorities.
• Develop and maintain production schedules that balance production efficiency with customer demand, working closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and sales.
• Monitor production metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet production targets.
• Supervise production personnel, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to implement process improvements and optimize production workflows for maximum efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components, minimizing production disruptions and inventory holding costs.
• Implement and maintain production planning and scheduling software systems to streamline operations and enhance visibility into production activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production control, scheduling, and personnel supervision within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions to optimize production processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate production plans and priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire production teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software systems (e.g., ERP systems, MRP systems) preferred.
