Production Manager
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in Southern Minnesota to find a Production Manager for their team! The Production Manager will be responsible for leading a large team of around 100 people across the 2nd & 3rd shifts. This person will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations across these shifts, leading & developing their teams, emphasizing safety and quality across the 2nd & 3rd shifts, and working with leadership on strategic initiatives. Our client is a local, Southern Minnesota business that’s a leader in the food production space and has been consistently growing year over year. They just wrapped up a large expansion project and are poised to continue their rapid growth. We’re looking for an experienced production supervisor or manager with experience in the food production industry who’s ready to join an industry leading team. Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor & grow team members while managing a large team of around 100 people across multiple shifts (2nd & 3rd).
- Maintain OSHA compliance and follow food safety & quality standards.
- Ensure that production schedules are on time and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Work with plant leadership on continuous improvement initiatives and production goals.
- Look for ways to create production efficiencies or cost-savings.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of production or manufacturing experience.
- 3+ years of management, supervisory or lead experience.
- Experience working in food production or a related industry.
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
