Project Engineer
The Project Engineer will support Project Management and Engineering activities by coordinating resources, schedules, and sub-contractors for job sites. While ensuring culture, safety, and excellence, you’ll abide by work activity plans and ensure projects on schedule and being completed on time.
Project sizes range from $3M-$700M, so you’ll get a wide variety of project exposure and see it through from dig to completion; plus you’ll be joining an organization that’s been in business for over a century. This is a field-based role and will be working on-site at project site in the greater Seattle area.
In addition to a competitive salary, we have a profit sharing program that employees are eligible for as well. We will provide a company vehicle, computer, cell phone, and cover gas expenses.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and Ensure work activity plans are being completed
- Support Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Field Engineers to enable communication across project teams
- Complete all record-keeping as needed including but not limited to: quality records, project planning, schedules, sub-contractor communication, inventory logs, invoices, transmittals, and submittals
- Monitor project cost control and material/equipment inventory
- Support estimating as needed
- Mentor and develop field engineering staff
- Review and submit RFIs
- Perform CTCs
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of previous civil engineering experience preferably from highway, roadway, bridge, transportation, earthwork, or renewables
- Understanding and working knowledge of formwork and falsework engineering
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
- AGTEK or Autocad experience preferred
