Safety Manager

  • Posted: November 20,2025

We’re excited to partner with a long-standing industrial manufacturer on the search for a hands-on, execution-focused Safety Manager who will lead safety culture, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple facilities. This organization builds complex engineered systems and operates within a dynamic job-shop metal fabrication environment. Backed by a large, well-capitalized parent company, the business is growing and investing in safety modernization, making this a high-impact leadership role with clear advancement potential.

As the Safety Manager, you will own safety programs for multiple facilities. You’ll partner closely with operations leadership, coach frontline employees, modernize training programs, and fully leverage EHS technology to drive accountability and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all safety programs, processes, and initiatives across multiple facilities.
  • Drive hands-on engagement on the shop floor to foster a proactive, collaborative safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and state-specific regulations; lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Develop and deliver safety training (forklift, aerial lift, confined space, respirator use, etc.).
  • Partner with operations, HR, and site leadership to reduce risk and improve TRIR.
  • Maintain and optimize use of EHS software (KPA) for reporting, tracking, and continuous improvement.
  • Support safety leads at each facility, providing coaching, structure, and best practices.
  • Travel up to 20% to oversee and support safety programs across sites.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Safety, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5–10+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or job-shop environments.
  • Proven ability to influence, engage, and build relationships at all levels — especially on the shop floor.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA compliance, audits, and regulatory communication.
  • Experience implementing practical safety improvements and driving execution (not a desk-only role).
  • Comfort delivering training and leading incident investigations.
  • Experience with EHS software (KPA preferred but not required).
