Sales Account Manager – Contract Manufacturing
Our client is a legacy-rich, employee-owned contract manufacturing powerhouse located in the Minneapolis metro. They’re adding a strategic Sales Account Manager to drive growth across aerospace/defense, energy, robotics, and ag equipment. This individual would report directly to a collaborative VP while training alongside a 30-yr veteran before inheriting marquee accounts.

Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle sales: qualify leads, author technical proposals, negotiate, close
- Partner with estimating/engineering for project execution
- Target 1-2 net-new accounts/yr while expanding high-volume relationships
- Limited travel to tradeshows and key customers
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ yrs contract sales in CNC machining (die casting a plus)
- Blueprint/spec mastery + ability to assess manufacturability
- Proven account management ability
- Bachelor’s preferred, MBA desirable
