Sales Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in Minneapolis to find a Sales Engineer for their growing team! Our client is a privately-held machinery manufacturer that we’ve placed multiple people with over the last few years. They’ve been in business for 100 years and have been steadily growing over the last few years. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for growing sales within existing accounts and generating some new sales/accounts. This is a capital equipment sales role focused in the industrial sector (processing equipment). Responsibilities
- Develop & maintain relationships with new & existing customers.
- Prepare technical sales presentations for clients.
- Partner with internal engineering teams to ensure projects meet customer specifications.
- Answer customer questions about products and make recommendations as needed.
- Attend trade shows and stay up to date on industry trends.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of Sales Engineering, Applications Engineering, or a similar role(s).
- Experience selling capital equipment preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic & international).
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
