Senior Accountant
A family-owned $50M distribution company serving Northern MN, ND, and Northeastern WI is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate team. This organization has been in business for 60+ years and is entering a leadership transition as several long-tenured executives (30+ years) prepare for retirement.
This is a high-visibility opportunity with clear growth into a future Controller/CFO role.

Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close
- Prepare monthly financial reporting
- Assist with cash flow management
- Oversee/support AP, AR, and inventory accounting
- Partner with external auditors
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and IT
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Distribution, manufacturing, or inventory-heavy background preferred
- Strong Excel skills and hands-on mindset
