SkyWater Search Partners is collaborating with an established real estate consulting firm looking to add an accomplished Project Manager to their growing team.

ABOUT THE COMPANY:
This Minneapolis-based real estate consulting firm has been advising corporate clients for over three decades. With a focus on tenant-side representation, they provide a full range of services—from transaction and workplace planning to construction oversight and relocation support.

The team is collaborative, values-driven, and deeply invested in delivering thoughtful solutions that align space with business goals. They’re known for working with integrity, communicating openly, and supporting continuous learning across the organization.

THE ROLE:
They’re seeking a Senior Associate Project Manager to lead real estate and workplace projects from strategy through execution. This includes planning, design coordination, construction oversight, and move management—working closely with both internal teams and external vendors.

This is a client-facing role that requires both strong technical capabilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and poise. You’ll work independently on some accounts while partnering with senior leaders on others.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage full project lifecycle for office renovations, relocations, and buildouts

  • Develop and track budgets, schedules, and scopes of work

  • Coordinate architects, engineers, general contractors, and vendors

  • Lead programming and planning sessions with clients to define future workplace needs

  • Oversee construction and move activities, including on-site presence as needed

  • Review vendor contracts, approve invoices, and manage closeout documentation

  • Collaborate with brokers and transaction leads on property tours and site assessments

  • Participate in client-facing meetings and business development discussions

  • Maintain accurate project data across internal and client systems

  • Build and sustain relationships with trusted vendors across A/V, furniture, tech, and more

WHO YOU ARE:

  • A seasoned project manager with strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset

  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team

  • Skilled in balancing big-picture planning with execution

  • A clear communicator who can lead meetings, guide clients, and keep projects moving

  • Curious, adaptable, and driven to deliver high-quality results

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years managing design and construction projects in a commercial setting

  • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Smartsheet
