Senior Commercial Property Manager
SkyWater search is partnering with an established yet growing boutique Real Estate Development firm who is looking to hire a Senior Real Estate Manager to oversee four commercial buildings in the Twin Cities market.
The company is growing, is highly strategic, and views the Minneapolis market as a key driver for growth of the company. This individual will have strong client service skills, a desire to work in a dynamic, high energy environment and a “roll up your sleeves” attitude. This person will also manage a team, so the ability to coach, train and delegate work is important.
Commercial real estate experience is a plus, ideally with exposure to Class A buildings!
Responsibilities
- Provide overall property management leadership while also managing and developing designated property personnel
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with all tenants to ensure tenant satisfaction
- Perform regular inspections of properties
- Negotiate and contract for vendor services and supervise work and vendor employees as required to ensure optimum performance
- Ensure timely payment of expenses by reviewing for accuracy and approving invoices for payment
- Perform lease administration duties including overseeing the timely collection of rent and compliance with lease terms
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate or related field from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years professional work experience, with supervisory experience.
- Construction management experience strongly preferred.
- P&L responsibility and budgetary experience.
- Strong initiative and customer service orientation.
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and proactive.
- Effective time management skills and close attention to detail.
