Senior Finance Manager
SkyWater is excited to partner with a Twin Cities-based design and manufacturing company as they look to add a Senior Manager of FP&A. We’re seeking finance leaders who are passionate about driving operational and financial performance and who can translate data into actionable insights that leadership can use to move the business forward.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the company’s value-creation plan – strengthening forecasting, improving performance management, and delivering the analytical support the leadership team needs to achieve growth, operational efficiency, and margin expansion.
Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, and multi-year models tied to value creation metrics.
- Margin & Operational Improvement: Partner with functional leaders to identify margin expansion, SG&A efficiency, working capital optimization, and cost reduction opportunities.
- Data-Driven Decision Support: Build scenario models, KPIs, dashboards, and product/customer-level profitability analytics to guide strategy and execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with supply chain, operations, and leadership to improve throughput, asset utilization, and pricing/product mix decisions.
- Private Equity & Leadership Engagement: Prepare insight-rich financial packages, support M&A activities, and align reporting with PE sponsor requirements.
- Execution & Strategic Leadership: Drive FP&A process improvements, automate reporting, challenge assumptions, and partner with the CFO on financial strategy and transformation priorities.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 10+ years in FP&A (manufacturing a plus)
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
- Strong in financial modeling, scenario analysis, KPIs, manufacturing cost structures, inventory optimization, and ERP/BI tools
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in turning insights into action that drives business performance
