SkyWater is excited to partner with a rapidly growing organization that is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to its team. We’re seeking a high-energy, analytically minded finance professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, is naturally curious, tech-savvy, and eager to make a meaningful impact across the organization.

Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this high-visibility role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a broad range of financial functions, including reporting, forecasting, strategic analysis, and operational support.
 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.
  • Interpret financial data and trends to provide clear, actionable insights that support executive decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and management of the annual budget and ongoing forecasts. Design, build, and refine financial models to guide strategic planning and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct detailed variance, cost, and investment analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, provide financial guidance, and develop data-driven solutions that enhance operational outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced financial systems and analytics tools to streamline reporting and analysis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that leverage technology to boost accuracy, speed, and insight generation.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, reporting, or corporate finance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (modeling, pivot tables, data visualization)
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for using technology to tackle complex financial challenges
  • A supportive and energetic team where curiosity and drive are genuinely valued
