Senior Internal Auditor
SkyWater is thrilled to be partnering with a global organization to help them identify a Senior Internal Auditor to join their growing team. As the Senior Auditor, you will conduct comprehensive audits at domestic and international locations, assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, compliance with accounting standards, and alignment with corporate policies and regulations. You’ll collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement in audit practices and support strategic risk mitigation efforts across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute risk-based audits, including research, audit program development, and risk assessment
- Facilitate live training sessions on topics such as fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and the code of conduct
- Perform audit fieldwork independently and professionally, including conducting interviews, data analysis, transactional testing, and process reviews
- Support the director with fraud, anti-corruption, and enterprise risk management (ERM) assessments
- Prepare organized and detailed workpapers to support findings and recommendations
- Draft audit reports and assist in presenting findings and obtaining management responses
- Identify and implement process improvements within the audit function
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of auditing and accounting experience
- Proficiency in audit methodologies and best practices
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; foreign language skills are a plus
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient in data analysis tools and financial systems
- Comfortable working with all levels of the organization
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with discretion
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
- Professional certification required or in progress (CPA, CIA, or CFE)
