Senior Project Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a growing contract med device manufacturer who’s looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team! This person will sit on the Research & Development (R&D) team and will lead complex projects from ideation to production. This includes working directly with customers throughout project lifecycles, leading internal team members on projects, and keeping projects on time & on-budget to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects at a time while managing project budgets & timelines.
- Maintain communication with customers throughout project lifecycles and develop & grow client relationships.
- Partner with sales teams on new project intake meetings to validate project requirements.
- Lead cross-functional team members on projects and coordinate with internal teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Participate in project design & phase reviews.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of project management or project engineering experience (or combination of similar experience).
- 2+ years of experience working in medical device manufacturing (ideally leading catheter projects).
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
- PMP or similar certification preferred.
