Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction
SkyWater Search is partnering with a growing local builder looking to add an accomplished Senior Project Manager to their team.
About the Role
A locally based builder with a strong reputation in the Twin Cities Metro is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will play a key role in managing client relationships, coordinating field operations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple large-scale builds.

Oversee submittals, RFIs, and change orders while maintaining accurate and organized project documentation.

Conduct and facilitate meetings, including owner/architect/contractor, subcontractor coordination, and internal project team sessions.

Manage bidding, subcontractor scope reviews, buy-out, and contract administration.

Provide leadership on CPM scheduling, project cost control, and monthly financial projections.

Partner with superintendents to ensure construction activities align with project plans and specifications.

Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to support successful project delivery.

Monitor safety compliance and reinforce expectations across all active jobsites.

Direct project closeout activities, including punch list management and final documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).

7+ years of progressive project management experience in construction, including large-scale projects.

Proven experience in high-end multifamily construction is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, cost control, and schedule management.

Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong familiarity with the Twin Cities Metro construction market is highly valued.
