The Senior Project Manager – Post-Acquisition Integration will lead the operational integration of newly acquired manufacturing businesses. This highly visible role owns cross-functional planning, alignment, and execution from Day 1 through stabilization, ensuring processes, systems, and teams are successfully incorporated into the broader organization.
 

Responsibilities

  • Integration Planning & Execution
  • Lead cross-functional integration projects for newly acquired sites, translating deal goals into structured implementation plans.
  • Assess operational capabilities, supply chain maturity, production workflows, quality systems, and capacity to identify integration priorities and gaps.
  • Build and manage integration timelines, milestones, risks, and communication plans. Cross-Functional Project Leadership
  • Partner with leaders across Operations, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Engineering, HR, IT, Finance, and Commercial.
  • Facilitate alignment on KPIs, reporting cadence, SOPs, procurement processes, inventory strategy, and production planning activities.
  • Drive issue resolution, remove roadblocks, and ensure clarity in roles and expectations during integration. Systems & Process Integration
  • Support harmonization of ERP/MRP systems, planning tools, procurement workflows, and other operational systems.
  • Standardize SOPs, documentation, safety/quality processes, and operating rhythms across acquired sites.
  • Coordinate integration of equipment, product lines, and manufacturing IP into broader operations.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, with advanced degree or certification (MBA, PMP, etc.) Preferred.
  • Background in manufacturing operations, supply chain, production, or engineering.
  • Experience leading acquisition integration in a manufacturing organization.
  • Strong project management discipline with the ability to lead without direct authority.
  • Experience in multi-site environments with differing cultures, systems, and processes. Skills
  • Exceptional cross-functional coordination and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments. Travel
  • 25–50% to acquired sites.
