Sourcing Manager
We’re excited to partner with a global manufacturer to help them find their next Sourcing Manager. The Sourcing Manager will play a pivotal role in sourcing and procuring parts, accessories, and service components essential for production. This role involves maintaining robust supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with trade agreements like USMCA. A successful candidate will bring strong negotiation skills, global collaboration capabilities, and a proven ability to lead and execute sourcing strategies efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Source and procure parts, materials, and services for production, accessories, and service parts.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulations such as USMCA.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and production facilities across multiple countries to align sourcing strategies.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Analyze market conditions and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
- Ensure the timely and accurate execution of daily sourcing and procurement activities.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance; implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage contracts and supplier agreements, ensuring fulfillment of terms and risk mitigation.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Powersports experience preferred
- In-depth understanding of USMCA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional collaboration across different countries and cultures.
- Proficiency with procurement software and analytical tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and drive performance.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to execute daily responsibilities efficiently.
