Staff Accountant
SkyWater is excited to partner with a $100M Private Food Manufacturing company as they are looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team. We are seeking a high-energy, analytically minded accountant who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, is naturally curious, tech-savvy, and eager to make a meaningful impact across the organization. This role is reporting to the Accounting Manager and has high visibility to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage fixed assets in SAP
- Project accounting
- Proper coding, assignment of depreciation into SAP, reconciliation, document support
- Quarterly and year-end audit schedules
- Prepare month-end journal entries
- Monthly freight expenditure reporting
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Review of accounts payable disbursements – account coding, legitimacy, timeliness
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred
- 2-5 years of accounting experience
- Positive, personable, team-oriented, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
- Able to work independently
- Proficiency in accounting and finance including Generally Accepted Accounting
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
