Supply Chain Manager
We’re excited to partner with a global manufacturer to help them find their next Supply Chain Manager. This strategic role is focused on building and localizing the North American supply chain to support their growing production footprint in Mexico. As a key liaison between the North American supplier network and international-based purchasing and product teams, you will be instrumental in sourcing critical components, evaluating competitive landscapes, and developing long-term procurement strategies to strengthen supply chain performance and cost-efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Identify and source vehicle parts and components for their Mexico production facility.
- Recommend and onboard local North American suppliers to reduce cost and lead time while enhancing global supply chain resilience.
- Conduct in-depth market research and cost analyses across North American suppliers, considering global trade policies, tariffs, transportation costs, and logistics.
- Benchmark competitor supply chains and identify suppliers aligned with high-end, innovative, or new product features.
- Lead RFQ processes and assess piece pricing, development costs, and capabilities of potential suppliers.
- Generate detailed comparative analysis reports and present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Support supplier capacity assessments and negotiate commercial terms.
- Partner with internal teams (product, marketing, purchasing) to align supplier strategies with new product launches and market trends.
- Assist in creating mid- and long-term sourcing strategies by category.
- Ensure smooth production ramp-up and volume delivery following program launches.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or International Trade.
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain development, supplier sourcing, or supply chain engineering — ideally in the powersports or automotive industry.
- Experience working with global supply chains preferred.
- Strong understanding of logistics, trade policy, and cost analysis.
- Proven ability to work independently while fostering cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Excellent data analysis, communication, and negotiation skills.
