We are seeking an operationally and strategically oriented SVP of Human Resources with a track record of growing an organization and creating a people focused culture to enable growth. Reporting to the CEO, the role brings valued business insights to the table as well as deep human resources expertise. The position leads a geographically dispersed HR function across a culturally diverse manufacturing plant environment. In addition to defining the people strategy, this individual plays a hands-on role in the execution of critical HR initiatives aligned with business priorities. Priorities for this role include: optimizing HR capabilities, nurturing talent, and enhancing the overall organizational efficiency of the HR function.  This is a new executive position and one that offers an exciting opportunity to help tackle the inevitable challenges of a rapid growth company.

Essential Functions

·Strategic Partner to the Organization’s Leaders: Collaborate with senior leadership to provide guidance on HR initiatives that align with business strategies and enhance organizational performance, employee engagement, and retention. Function as a strategic business advisor regarding key organizational and management issues. Establish strong working relationships with business unit leaders, ensuring the highest level of collaboration and support is achieved in service of corporate and business unit goals and objectives.
·HR Function Leadership: Cultivate a human resource function that is strategic, proactive, results-oriented, operates with a sense of urgency, and is viewed as a valued partner to the business.
·HR Strategy: Develop an HR strategy aligned with the company’s aggressive growth plans. Plan, execute and drive the initiatives toward the achievement of the plans, including leading HR merger and acquisition activity.
·Compensation and Benefits: Develop and manage compensation and benefits strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees. Ensure competitive, cost-effective, and equitable compensation structures.

·Talent and Organizational Development: Lead company efforts to attract great talent and establish a culture of high performance through talent assessment, performance management, training, and development. Develop and implement talent management strategies, including talent acquisition, succession planning, career development, onboarding, and rewards and recognition programs.
·DE&I: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive and equitable workplace for all employees.
·Employee Relations: Handle complex employee relations issues, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations (ERISA, EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.).
·HR Technology and Analytics: Utilize HR technology and analytics to make data-driven decisions and enhance HR processes and systems.
·Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure HR practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations. Manage HR-related risks and maintain accurate records. Direct the formation and interpretation of all HR policies throughout the company
 

Experience and Requirements:
A combination of larger public/corporate and smaller/entrepreneurial company experience is viewed as the ideal mix, blending “best-in-class” training with empowered, action-oriented, and “roll-up-your- sleeves” experience. Our ideal candidate is motivated by seeing their work translate directly to business success. Primary requirements and experience include the following:

·15+ years in the Human Resources field, preferably within manufacturing
·Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field.  SPHR or SHRM-SCP
·5+ years of leadership experience partnering with an Executive Team and CEO
·Prior experience working with Private Equity partners (preferred)
·Experience in supporting a multi-site, geographically dispersed workforce in a manufacturing/manufacturing adjacent environment
·Ability to manage the complexities of a high-growth business and optimize all functional areas of HR to support the business now and into the future.
·Experience leading an HR function through a merger/acquisition.
·Experience initiating and leading change with a high degree of transformation in a matrixed organization.
·Brings professional maturity, business credibility, personal integrity, energy and drive.
·Possesses a sense of humility, empathy, a sense of humor, and critical listening skills.
·Ability to work and interact effectively with a diverse, multicultural workforce
