As a Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by acquiring new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with existing clients. Your primary responsibilities will working with key OEM customer accounts and the management of projects, negotiations, sales, and customer satisfaction. They compensate well through a competitive base salary plus bonus along with benefits.

  • Manage current profit margins, margin retention and profitable growth.
  • Negotiate and maintain critical customer agreements, such as LTA’s, raw materials, exchange rate, freight, etc.
  • Establish and maintain contact with major OEM’s purchasing, engineering, and management level personnel. Strive to reach the highest level of management within the OEM’s and potential customers.
  • Ability to understand and follow APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) processes.
  • Capability of working closely with internal engineers and engineering concepts to fulfill customer expectations.
  • Confer with immediate supervisor in the development of existing OEM and potential customers.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of outside sales experience of driving net new business and developing relationships.
  • Proven track record of success in industrial sales, preferably selling to leading OEM’s.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • The ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is highly preferred.
