Technical Writer
This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity located in MN (NE suburbs). This is an Automation company that has been around for over 50 years, and has been consistently growing year over year. The Lead Technical Writer is excited to have a senior level Technical Writer join the team. He’s looking for someone who has experience in a Manufacturing setting (Automation, Medical Device, Defense/Aerospace, etc.). You will be writing Manuals for the company’s machines, alongside the other 3 Technical Writers on this team. You will have great mentorship and training, as this team is very experienced.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing & Communication (or similar)
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing
- Experience with authoring tools such as – Adobe FrameMaker, InDesign, Photoshop, MadCap Flare, SolidWorks Composer, etc.
- Experience in a Manufacturing setting
- MUST be local to MN, CANNOT require sponsorship
