The Senior Process Engineer will serve as the subject matter expert for sheet molding compound manufacturing processes and focus in hands-on training & development, documenting processes, and helping the team implement best practices towards process improvements on the production floor.
We’re looking for a change agent for this role, someone who enjoys and excels in identifying projects to lead as well as being hands-on implementing those projects.
You’ll work closely with the engineering team, quality manager, plant manager, and maintenance team to implement process improvements on a daily basis.
The Process Engineer II will identify and lead projects geared towards improving manufacturing processes including but not limited to: scrap percentages, yield improvements, machine down time, work instructions and documentation, and corrective action planning.
