I’m partnering with a long-standing real estate client of mine to help them identify their next VP of Acquisitions. My client is a well respected real estate investment firm that’s been around for over 50 years. I’ve placed three people with these guys over the years and can speak to their strong culture and tight-knit office environment. If you’re a hunter and deal originator coming from the REIT or CRE space, this is a rare opportunity to join this well established company!

My client also offers a hybrid work schedule, flexibility, and competitive pay. Base salary + bps per closed deal. 

Responsibilities

  • Source off-market and marketed acquisition opportunities in the healthcare real estate sector
  • Build and expand relationships with developers, brokers, health systems, and physician groups
  • Conduct market research and stay current on industry trends, health system expansion plans, and regional opportunities
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and in-person meetings to cultivate new opportunities
  • Lead underwriting process using internal financial criteria, including financial modeling and credit evaluation
  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, asset management) to facilitate due diligence and ensure smooth closings
  • Present investment recommendations to the executive team, including rationale, deal metrics, and risk assessments

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in real estate acquisitions, brokerage, or development
  • Strong background in healthcare or medical office (MOB) real estate is essential
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and closing net-leased commercial assets
  • Existing relationships with healthcare or medical, developers, brokers, and health systems
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and underwriting skills
  • Ability to travel nationally for deal sourcing and relationship development
