We are partnering with a growing manufacturer to find a Vice President of Operations. This will oversee operations across two metal fab/machining  sites driving efficiency, growth, and integration of future acquisitions. With a focus on strategic leadership, this role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of scaling businesses, optimizing processes, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to drive operational excellence across two manufacturing sites.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency, productivity, and revenue growth without solely relying on increased labor.
  • Collaborate with Plant Managers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to optimize processes and workflows.
  • Play a key role in the integration of future acquisitions into the organization’s portfolio.
  • Own materials management processes to ensure timely procurement and optimal inventory levels.
  • Lead budget planning and resource allocation to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
  • Provide oversight of the QMS in an ISO 9001 environment.
  • Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion, including potential new markets, products, or services.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational strategies with overall business objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record of scaling businesses and increasing efficiencies in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Experience in multi-site management, preferably within the metal fabrication or machining industry.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity or experience with EOS/Traction is a plus
