Warehouse Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization who’s looking to hire a Warehouse Manager for their team! Our client is a small, privately held manufacturer that’s been successfully operating for 30+ years. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of 25 reports while also driving warehouse efficiencies, improving performance, and placing an emphasis on safety across all aspects of the warehouse operation (inventory, shipping/receiving, etc.). Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse functions from production planning, shipping/receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and logistics.
- Manage a team of 3 department supervisors with 20 indirect reports.
- Partner with internal teams (production, quality, supply chain, etc.) to improve warehouse operations & resolve any bottlenecks or issues as they arise.
- Maintain safety & quality standards across the warehouse.
- Work with plant leadership on strategic & continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma required (Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience working in a warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or operations role (or combination of roles).
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
