Get To Know August Peters

We asked this all-star IT Executive Recruiter a few questions, and here’s what he had to say:

Tell us about your career leading up to SkyWater.

I graduated from College and coached an American Football team in Prague to the country’s championship game. I then moved back to the US to coach Division 1 football at Western Michigan. I was there for three years as a Defensive Graduate Assistant. For the last two years I have been a technical recruiter at a small startup, TalentEdge Staffing. I am currently a lead recruiter, doing work that is focused on Seed – Series D startups. Most of the roles I work on are Engineers, Product Managers, and Engineering Leadership.

Describe your perfect day off.

In the winter August likes to Ski on the north shore, cross-country ski in town, and go snowshoeing with his dog. In the summer he likes to water ski and golf. His passions are centered around sports, cooking, and listening to music.
