SkyWater is excited to be partnering again with a growing cooperative in the Twin Cities looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team!
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a broad, hands-on role for an experienced accounting professional who is comfortable owning the full accounting cycle from start to finish. This person will oversee one direct report and take ownership of the month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, AR/AP, member accounting, compliance and audit, while also serving as a key accounting resource across the organization.
They’re looking for 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience independently owning a full month-end close and strong knowledge across the financial statements. Hands-on experience with compliance, audit and broader accounting operations is important, along with management experience. While experience with their specific accounting system isn’t required, they do want someone who has worked within and can quickly learn more robust accounting systems.
Beyond the technical accounting, they want someone who enjoys operating in a smaller-company environment – someone who can jump into the details, connect the dots across the business, improve processes and partner comfortably with people outside of accounting. There’s also a newer business line that could bring additional inventory and entity complexity as it grows, creating plenty of opportunity for this role to evolve.
Our client, a highly regarded financial institution in the Twin Cities, is seeking Investment Banking Associates/VPs — this is a fantastic opportunity for someone at a smaller lower-middle-market or boutique to step up to an upper-middle-market shop, or for those at bulge brackets to step into better culture/work like balance.

Whether you plan on staying in investment banking the rest of your career or will eventually seek exit opportunities into PE/Corp Dev/Corp Finance this is the place to be.
Candidates looking to relocate from other markets are welcome to apply — relocation assistance can be provided. Our client is not offering visa sponsorship at this time.
