Product Manager, Industrial Equipment
We are partnering with a manufacturer of complex industrial equipment to find a Product Manager that has a strong engineering foundation and proven success owning the full product life cycle.
- Drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for your assigned product lines, managing all phases from cradle to grave.
- Act as the voice of the market and the customer to the engineering teams, translating market needs into clear, technical product specifications. Bring a strong mechanical aptitude to aid in making informed decisions on design, features, and performance
- Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews (including onsite visits) to identify new opportunities and validate product hypotheses
- Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to develop and execute successful product launch plans, ensuring the commercial success of new and existing products.
- Engage in travel around 25% for customer visits, trade shows, and market research.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or related
- 3 + years of professional experience, with a blend of engineering/technical background and industrial product management
- Experience managing complex machinery, durable goods, commercial equipment, or manufacturing systems
- Demonstrated experience owning the product lifecycle end-to-end, not just focusing on business case development or downstream activities.
Location & Compensation

- $100k – $150k + 10% bonus potential and additional incentive opportunities
