Position Summary:

Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the people of the company while perpetuating the company’s family values. Instrumental in fostering a culture of hard work, kindness, respect, and professionalism while leading the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and the automation of processes.

Responsibilities (include but may not be limited to):

  • Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments ensuring the production of company products at the highest quality at the lowest possible cost.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service by executing against the timelines and commitments of the company.
  • Plan production operations, establish priorities and sequences for the manufacturing of products.
  • Prepare work packet releases and coordinate activities to ensure the production of products meets specifications and customer timelines.
  • Develop or revise standard operational procedures by observing production staff to understand opportunities and potential problems.
  • Resolve problems and triage issues with guidance from the Plant Manager.
  • Ensure the training of new and current employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company’s standards for quality, quantity, and safety.
  • Act as a resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems; analyze and resolve work issues and assist workers in solving work problems.
  • Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and all safety and work rules.
  • Collaborate with other departments on various assignments as necessary.
  • Responsible for the continued development and implementation of the company’s ERP system including the implementation of labor tracking, bar coding, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to perpetuate the culture of hard work and family values.
  • Management responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; creating a respectful work environment; coaching, training, and motivating employees; rewarding and disciplining employees; assessing performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems; developing staff to meet the current and future needs of the company.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production environment, with leadership experience required.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production issues effectively.
